Worms 4: mayhem

Hitman Blood Money

Hitman: Blood Money brings back the world's greatest assassin, Agent 47. A series of hits have eliminated a number of assassins from the ICA, Agent 47's contract killing firm. Sensing that he may be the next target, he travels to America where he attempts to carry on with business as usual. That means killing -- a lot of it. Online Stat System allows players to post stats in a variety of different skills and feats; compare and compete with other players around the world New to the world of assassinations? The all-new Rookie Training mode will give you all the training needed Drop a priceless chandelier or use a remote bomb -- the new accident system allows for more freedom in choosing the method for taking out the target.

Many new features were introduced to Hitman: Blood Money. These include the capability to climb through more obstacles, improved character animations (example-face, eyes, etc), a new game engine and the ability to upgrade weapons and equipment. However, only five of the featured weapons in the game, as well as assorted pieces of equipment such as bombs and armor, can be upgraded. Every level contains some sort of method to make the target's death look like an accident; for example, tampering with someone's grill to make it explode when they turn it on, or the target 'accidentally' falling off a balcony. There are also improvised weapons, like a nailgun or a pair of hedge clippers.

A gameplay feature new to the Hitman series was also added, the "Notoriety" system. If the player, during a mission, kills innocents or civilians, gets caught on CCTV or is witnessed committing murder, Agent 47's notoriety will rise. Conversely, if the player executes the mission perfectly with none of the aforementioned events occurring, 47's notoriety will be minimal. The higher Agent 47's notoriety is, the easier it will be for NPCs to identify him. Players may use the bribery system to negate accumulated notoriety. The notoriety system is not enabled in "Rookie" mode, which also allows unlimited saves and a lower level of general difficulty. Health boosts are available in the game, namely Painkillers and Adrenaline shots.

When each mission has been completed, a newspaper article is displayed regarding the hit, in which the content varies depending on the investigation results and the player's notoriety. Sketch drawings are also sometimes visible of Agent 47's face, which grow progressively more accurate as 47's notoriety grows. The article's title relates to the player's mission rating. "Silent Assassin", in which you assassinate the targets as cleanly and quietly as possible, and draw no unnecessary attention to yourself (blow covers, leave no extra bodies, etc.), is the best rating possible on all missions...

Viva Pinata

Likened to The Sims, Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon,^[2] the game tasks the player with turning a neglected plot of land into a beautiful garden. As with many sandbox games, the game is open-ended, with no strict winning or losing requirements. Instead, players are guided only generally towards the objectives of increasing their garden's value and attracting piñata residents. Players are free to determine their own sub-goals and work towards them.

Developing a successful garden requires setting up the land and foliage appropriately to attract piñatas, as well as purchasing various items to place within the garden (e.g., homes for the piñatas). When certain requirements are fulfilled, the garden will attract a simple black-and-white version of a given piñata species. After fulfilling additional requirements, the piñata will become a resident, changing into a full-color version. Once two piñatas of the same species are residents and their mating (romance) requirements are met, they can perform a romance dance, resulting in a baby piñata egg. No piñata has a gender specific design, and hence any two piñatas of the same species can mate (with some hidden inter-species romances possible as well).

When piñatas get together to mate, a maze-navigation minigame is initiated. Completing the mating minigame successfully will result in the creation of a new piñata offspring. For species encountered early in the game, the minigames are simple, but as the game progresses, minigames become increasingly difficult. The difficulty also increases as more members of a given species are resident, so that players have fewer lives (in the minigame) for each piñata of that type already in the garden.

In addition to looking after the needs of their piñatas, players must also watch out for Ruffians and sour piñatas, who enter the garden with the sole intent of wreaking havoc. Their mischief includes eating fruits or vegetables, destroying objects, or causing resident piñatas to become ill. If the player is resourceful, sour piñatas can, however, be won over and turned into productive garden residents. Additionally, players can earn or purchase individual parts of a totem-pole like structure known as the "Tower of Sour" to deter the type of sour piñata each part corresponds to. Different parts of this become available as the player completes certain requirements. In order to keep out Ruffians (and their leader, Professor Pester), players can purchase a "Captain's Cutlass" from one of the merchants.

Each piñata which is a resident of the garden can be customized as the player sees fit. Customization options include:

• The name of the piñata.
• The piñata's decorative tag (which stays with it, wherever it goes).
• A multitude of accessories the player can purchase for their piñata, ranging from hats, to backpacks, to large teeth. These accessories can increase a piñata's value, or can grant the piñata additional abilities.

Customizations, including accessories, are lost if a piñata is broken (Viva Piñata's version of death) for any reason, including being eaten by another piñata, being hit with a shovel, or after being sick for an extended period of time.

Although never particularly expanding on the graphical side, Sports Interactive included many new features along with the usual updated database. Championship Manager 01/02 implemented the new EU regulated transfer system, introduced in September 2001, and also featured a new attribute masking mode, whereby the player could only see information about footballers he/she would realistically know about (also known as a fog of war).

Other new additions included the ability to send players away for surgery, player notes, player comparisons, and improved media and board interaction.

Universe At War Earth Assault

Universe at War: Earth Assault, begins in the year 2012 when an alien race known as the Hierarchy lands on Earth to strip-mine the planet. Before their landing, observatories and scientists on Earth gave warning of aliens but the human race as a whole is not able to organize a unified military front against the alien forces. Because the Hierarchy has vast military experience from invading and destroying other planets in the universe, the human race is not able to withstand their forces. ^[5]

When the Novus arrive on Earth, they expect humanity to be extinct and earth's surface strip-mined, in accordance with Hierarchy standard operating procedure. However, the Novus find Earth mostly intact and the human military not yet entirely wiped out. Humanity owes its continued survival to the fact that Kamal Re'x the Abductor, the overseer in charge of the Hierarchy's Earth invasion, has held back the bulk of his forces to lure the Novus into a trap. Kamal Re'x hopes to earn a promotion by wiping out the Novus expeditionary force. When the Novus arrive, Hierarchy forces are still fighting, and the Novus hope to achieve victory by engaging the vastly superior numbers of the Hierarchy in small groups.

Meanwhile, the Hierarchy has unwittingly tripped an ancient alarm in the Egyptian pyramids, and the Masari, asleep beneath the Earth's oceans, are beginning to waken. The Masari, once a galactic superpower, saved the race that were to become the Hierarchy from extinction by giving them advanced technology. The Hierarchy responded by using this technology to wipe out the Masari and usurp their position in the galaxy. The remnant of the Masari empire fled to Earth, where they contributed to the construction of the Egyptian and Mayan pyramids, the myth of Atlantis (the Masari's mother ship doubled as their capital city which sank beneath the waves when the Masari entered their long slumber), and the Biblical stories of angels and demons (probably based on the light/dark modes of the winged Masari Inquisitors and Skylords). The Masari are furious when they finally awaken not only to find their enemy the Hierarchy present of Earth, but the once beautiful planet polluted by the humans and 'infested' with sentient machines. As such, the Masari have no alliegance and are prepared to destroy any and all of the other factions to reap revenge on those who destroyed their civilization and their adopted home.

Drakan: Order of the Flame

Drakan: Order of the Flame is an action-adventure computer game by Surreal Software, released in 1999 by publisher Psygnosis.

The game tells the story of Rynn, a young woman with extraordinary martial skills and abilities, as she struggles to free her younger brother, Delon, who was kidnapped by evil sorcerer Navaros' minions.

The story begins as Rynn and her brother walk home after completing an assignment of the village elder, Atimar. On the way home, they are attacked by a pack of wartoks (Orc-like creatures serving Navaros), whereby Rynn is injured and left behind, while Delon is kidnapped. As Rynn returns to the village, she finds it devastated by a group of wartoks and other minions of Navaros. She also finds Atimar, pinned to a doorway with a spear, who tells her to see the dragon Arokh and apply the Order of the Flame, and dies.

She finds Arokh in an ancient cave littered with traps, and uses the crystal of Arokh's former partner Heron to awaken him from his statue-like state of sleep. Although reluctantly, Arokh agrees to bind with her in the ancient magic unison called the Bond, the most powerful magic once possessed by the Order of the Flame.

Rynn and Arokh's journey takes them all across the world of Drakan and into various minor quests, and eventually, after countless battles (both in the air and on the ground), they find out that the minions of Navaros are trying to use Delon's body to incarnate Navaros. Near the end of the game, Rynn has to fight the possessed Delon, after which Navaros leaves his body and Delon falls into an abyss. After that, she and Arokh first need to slay Navaros' dragon Kaeros, and then they descend into the abyss themselves, after which we see a mirror display Delon falling down while an evil laugh is heard.

This game is based on one of Agatha Christie's most famous novels. Step aboard the beautiful Orient Express, a 1930s train which travels between Istanbul and Paris, to help famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot solve a murder mystery.

As the journey aboard the luxurious train begins, Samual Ratchett, an American millionaire, recognizes Poirot and asks for his protection. Even though Ratchett insists that someone is trying to kill him, he won't provide much more information, so Poirot refuses. The next day, an avalanche suddenly halts the train's progression and Rachett is found dead in his cabin. Poirot, who has sprained his ankle when the train stopped so abruptly, obtains the help of Antoinette Marceau, an Orient Express employee, to try and solve the murder. Antoinette, your character, will do the investigating with Poirot offering assistance and pointers along the way if you choose. Naturally, everyone aboard the train is suspect so you have your work cut out for you!

As is typical of the genre, the mystery will be solved by finding and using inventory objects (some of which can be combined), repeatedly interrogating everyone aboard the train and applying your skills of logic and deduction. There are puzzles of various types to solve including a puzzle box, a jigsaw puzzle, a combination safe and a maze. In addition to the standard adventure fare, you can "shadow" your suspects by following behind quietly, and a feature allowing you to eavesdrop on private conversations. Progress is scored using a points system. Control is handled entirely by mouse in point-and-click fashion

Early in the game you'll be able to choose one of two levels of difficulty. In the more difficult "Challenge" mode, you solve the mystery yourself with only brief comments from Poirot. Get more hints and suggestions from Poirot by choosing the "Cooperative" mode.
The game features several alternate endings to provide surprises for those who are familiar with Christie's original ending. Poirot is voiced by David Suchet who played the character in films.

Set after the events of the 1982 John Carpenter movie, The Thing is a squad based 3rd person shooter, where each member of your team is equipped with a range of weapons and items to help you in your quest to destroy The Thing.

The Thing is set several hours after the film's ending, when two United States military rescue teams, Alpha and Bravo, are dispatched to investigate the loss of contact with the U.S. and Norwegian research stations in the area. Alpha Team, headed by the unit's second-in-command, Sergeant Pierce, is dropped at the Norwegian station. Bravo Team, lead by the unit's Commanding Officer, Captain Blake, is then dropped at the American research station.

The player assumes the role of Captain Blake, and must learn how to coordinate and command his Bravo Team colleagues whilst investigating the ruins of Outpost 31 and locating clues and messages detailing the incident for players who are unfamiliar with the film. The mission supervisor, Colonel Whitely, will offer sporadic assistance and relay objectives via radio. This section serves as an in-game tutorial and training level and offers some insight into the events which transpired following the end of the movie. Upon securing the facility, Blake is airlifted to the Norwegian research station to locate and reinforce Alpha Team after Whitely informs him that they have lost contact with the team...

Since Combat Mission: Shock Force models combat set in Syria, a nation rich in diverse geography, the terrain types range from flat expanses of desert to vast wooded and mountainous regions and from small villages and towns all the way up to and including dense urban centers. Gamers familiar with the earlier Combat Mission games will be thrilled with the new 1 meter by 1 meter terrain mesh that allows for stunningly realistic maps. Dynamic lighting, deformable terrain, new 'flavor objects' and graphic special effects only help to further accentuate and intensify the playable environments.

Of course this new High Fidelity terrain modeling also extends into the realm of structures. Combat Mission: Shock Force features buildings with distinct window and door placement and interaction, variable roof styles, balconies, foundation sizes and heights. Silver released in 1999 is a role-playing game. The story focuses around a young warrior called David and his quest to retrieve his wife from the clutches of the villain Silver. On his journey he gains a number of followers and visits many different landscapes. The game sold over 400,000 copies and is now out-of-print. The game was distributed with PCs sold by Time, a computer company based in England, in the year 2000 and was very well-received by players.

The game features polygonal 3D characters drawn against a pre-rendered 2D background. The character design is inspired from Manga/Anime culture. The battle system of Silver is notable for being completely real-time opposed to many similar light role-playing games, which usually have turn-based combat. The player may choose any character in his adventuring party to control, and the rest of the characters are handled automatically by AI. The story focuses largely on collecting eight magic orbs representing different elements such as fire, ice and acid. Each orb is located at an area themed around the orb, and the player may use the collected orbs to cast different kind of spells against his enemies.

The Scene 'Silver' takes place in the island region of Jarrah, commonly known as the 'Wheel Of Life' for the fact that it is shaped like a wheel. It consists of seven islands.
Haven Haven lies on the center of Jarrah. It is a very fertile island, and has a lot of flora and fauna. In the center lie the Oracle's Tower and the Rebel Camp (Which is some sort of main base; you can change your party here).

Verdante Verdante is in the top-right corner of Jarrah. It's even more fertile than Haven, and has a lot of forests... Well, it would have, but a lot has been burned away or turned into swampland due to battles against Silver. David's house, a monastery and lots of forests await here.

Rain Rain is basically a large, dark city on an island. It always rains here. This is the third-to-most evil area of all, unable to surpass Mettalon and Deadgate. Important places here are Chains, Silver's dungeon, and the pub, although the pub has more use later.

Gno Gno is the island, which houses nothing more but a really big library. This library (the Library Of Gno) also has caverns underneath it, and, in the beginning of the game, has a lot of trouble with imps.

Winter Winter is kind of a key area in the game, although not a large one. It houses two orbs (Ice and Earth) and has caverns underneath, and a big castle (property of Glass, Silver's daughter).

Mettalon The last island visited in the game, and the location of Silver's palace. As its name suggests, the city that covers the entire island is made completely out of metal, with the exception of Silver's palace. The island is pitted with rivers of blood, the source of Silver's power. The player can only reach this island by being teleported there by Silver's daughter, Glass. Once the player is teleported there, they cannot leave with the exception of a brief visit to hell, where the player fights Apocalypse, the game's final boss.

Divine Divinity is an isometric 2D RPG similar to the style of Diablo, set in a completely original fantasy universe. The entire game world consists of over 20,000 screens, each one being a seamless transition into the next with weather effects and day/night cycles. Many subquests and nonlinear gameplay allow much exploration and replayability.

Some of the game's features include six character classes with nearly a hundred skills to learn, over 100 different types of creatures and 150 unique npcs. Almost 500 skill levels to learn.

The interface is among the most useful in any RPGs. The controls are simple, yet intuitive. An automap and journal makes sure you always know where you are and where you're supposed to be going.

Burn is a first-person shooter computer game released in 2007 developed by Destan Entertainment and produced by Teyon.

The player can choose between 13 arenas and 5 characters and fight in single-player and multi-player mode. The game provides two special modes: deathmatch, where the winner is the one who has collected given number of frags, and burn, where the winner is the one who has survived the competition. Each fight can be made with special modifiers like low gravity, weapon power up, timed competition, or sudden death.

League, the main single-player game mode, allows the players to fight on the arenas, gather points and eventually fight with a boss named Dark.

The maps in Burn contain a many bonuses and environment vulnerable to destruction. There are 7 different weapons available in the game, each with an alternative fire mode. .

Gameplay is exactly the same as any other Monopoly game. The object of the game is to buy as much property as possible, eventually causing your opponents go bankrupt. Besides the same object and rules (all of which are by-the-book but adjustable -- no cheating, though!), Monopoly Star Wars has a different look to it than the board game. For example, instead of the car, the cowboy or the thimble, play as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader or Boba Fett. Instead of houses and hotels, buy ships and starports. The property names have also been changed to fit the Star Wars motif (e.g., the Imperial capitol Coruscant is the most expensive property, while Yoda's home planet of Dagobah is the slums). You play professor Alan Russell, an eco-activist who was offered by a company named Subtech to design Biosphere 4. Biospheres are large complexes holding artificial ecosystems. Russell wanted to develop a synthetic plant that could efficiently transform CO2 into oxygen. But those plants soon turn to be killers: they can move and suck CO2 from the lungs of human beings. Russell opposes any further works connected to those plants, but Subtech continues the researches and is unable to prevent a disaster...

Russell is trapped in Biosphere 4 and has to find his way out. There are four ecosystems ("biomes") in Biosphere 4: rainforest, savannah, ocean, and accelerated evolution. Russell has to overcome all obstacles and to stay alive in this bizarre world.

"Biosys" is an adventure game with simulation elements. You control the environment in the artificial world, but you also have to take care of your own condition. You must drink, eat, and sleep. Different kinds of nutrition will have different effects upon you, your condition will change depending on where you decided to sleep, etc. The rest is standard puzzle-solving gameplay: finding items, operating switches, etc.

Vivien must now seek the Gods of the new world, gain back her power and search for the counter-weapon against Mortagorn.

Players must fight, gain experience, level and acquire new skills. As in the earlier games, the way to open up new locations is by exploration, finding clues and solving puzzles. The new story is deep and rich and unfolds gradually as the logic and gadgetry puzzles are solved.

New features in URU that are very different from others in the series thus far:

# View your character as an "avatar" on screen in the New 3rd Person Perspective or choose the familiar 1st person view if you prefer.
# Move your character with both the mouse and keyboard keys.
# Not just "point and click", you can run, strafe, climb and jump.

# No inventory objects are needed or used
# The game saves your progress when you exit so saving games is not necessary. "Checkpoints" exist in each location.

Death To Spies (2007)

In WWII, there was apparently an actual unit that was formed strictly for the purpose of rooting out and killing spies. Since we’ve seen a lot of WWII games hit store shelves, 1C has decided to take a little different approach to the famous conflict by doing a lot of research and allowing you to play as one of these spy eliminator units.

The demo showcased the action in a third person perspective, and the game will have you relying heavily on stealth and infiltration of enemy areas. There is a health meter and a map to help you locate enemies and objectives similar to other stealth titles, but Death to Spies also includes an enemy awareness meter which will help determine whether or not you may be seen or recognized. This not only includes making too much noise or being too much out in the open, but you will also be able to take the clothing of enemies you knock out … shooting them will get blood on the uniform and the AI is smart enough to recognize things like this or even carrying a Russian issued gun instead of a German one. You can even do things like booby trap an enemies corpse so that when his buddies flip him over to see what happens … BOOM! You now have a clear path.

"Death to Spies" was the name of a set of counterintelligence departments
in the Soviet Army formed during World War II.
Their mission was to secure the rear of the active Red Army
by arresting traitors, deserters, spies and criminal elements. During the
war these agents became the main force combating the German intelligence
service.

The game's main character is a captain in the 4th department of the Soviet
counterintelligence service. He is a professional spy trained to execute
dangerous operations on his own. During missions he will have to complete
various tasks in the heart of enemy territory including stealing important
documents, eliminating different enemy officers or high-ranking officials,
kidnapping and sabotage.

Game missions are based on real historical events and operations which
were executed by the military intelligence and counterintelligence during
the war.

Pathologic is a unique type of adventure game designed to affect the emotional and psychological state of the player in a way that no other PC game has achieved.

The story begins in a place called the Ancient Steppe when a strange town appears from nowhere. Seeming to be a small drover settlement , the mysterious, isolated establishment has managed to survive for several generations. It could have continued to grow, were it not for a sudden outbreak of some kind of lethal disease, which begins to mercilessly slaughter the denizens inhabiting the area. The Secrets of Da Vinci: The Forbidden Manuscript is an adventure game which takes place in Italy in 1522, 3 years after Leonardo Da Vinci's death. It is not the same as the action/adventure game titled after the movie, The Da Vinci Code, but an entirely different game.

The artist and inventor Da Vinci bequeathed all of his technical notes to his student and scholarly companion, Francesco Melzi. You play the role of Melzi's apprentice, Valdo, who is sent to Da Vinci's home to find his secret notebook. Once gaining entrance to Da Vinci's residence, there are many obstacles in his way including the artist's own inventions and the puzzles that go along with them.

Using a point-and-click interface, explore the estate of Leonardo Da Vinci which is replicated on-screen in 3D. Meet and converse with the current resident of the manor and the grounds keeper. Consultations and historical documents from the Chateau du Clos Lucé (formerly the Manoir du Cloux) assisted the developers in depicting the estate and grounds with historical accuracy.

Puzzles are based on the actual works of DaVinci and are a mixed variety of mechanical, scientific and alchemic. Most require simple logic and deduction but some are triggered by discovering the correct clue. Solving puzzles inside Valdo's interactive journal is necessary as well.

The game is divided into 4 Chapters (days). There are several different endings possible depending upon decisions you make during the last portions of the game.

This game is similar to Diablo, having isometric perspective and intense action combat. You can play as a fighter, a mage, or a conjurer; there is a variety of weapons and spells at your service.

This is the latest Prince of Persia game titled The Two Thrones. It has the ISO crack and instructions written by myself. Pretty simple install. Extremely fun game, one of my favorites. This is my first real rapidshare upload, took all last night to finish Enjoy.

The Two Thrones provides a satisfying conclusion to the Sands of Time trilogy, with a lot of the same puzzle-solving and gorgeous environments you remembered from the previous two games.

The story is a lot better than the other Alien Shooter games. This time around, players act as hired mercenaries (ala Jagged Alliance 2) for the energy corporation M.A.G.M.A. As of course, as a soldier (or private contractor) players must exterminate the alien forces in designated areas. But let me get to the real meat and potatoes of this game, the fact that it’s an RPG action-shooter. I couldn’t believe the amount of depth this game has; players can now purchase new items from within a stage thanks to a electronic store facility they can approach. There’s also stats and upgrades for specific areas of combat or reconnaissance to improve a soldier’s capabilities. Survival mode also makes a return housing in-game upgrades for weapons and character stats. And unlike many other mainstream games there’s the option to pick one’s gender before even starting the story campaign. There’s a lot this game offers and it simply aught to make big publishers ashamed of the amount of time and money they put into action titles that aren’t halfway near as good as the Alien Shooter 2 demo
